Overview of Projects
Career ResearchA quick overview of Biomedical Engineering. Provided information includes job outlook, median salary, typical work environments, educational requirements, and colleges that offer majors for the career.
Tape DispenserStudents were to design an aesthetically pleasing tape dispenser using only coat hangers. Teams had to brainstorm how they would warp the material to get the desired shape and how to keep their product safe to use.
ESAB Field TripThe class was treated to a field trip to a local business with plenty of STEM opportunities.
AutomataFinal project of the course. Groups of two had to work together to come up with an idea to make into an automata. Inventor was used again to create the parts, assemble them, and make a presentation that displayed the intended movement.

20 RectanglesStudents were given the task to design an object using only 20 rectangles. Ideas had to be sketched out, and criteria had to be strictly followed.
Fling MachineStudents must create and manufacture a design that will consistently launch a ping pong ball ten feet. To be successful with this project, students had to limit sources of human error and consider what designs would help them best achieve their goal.
AutomobloxAfter being assigned a model of a certain automoblox vehicle, teams had to dimension and accurately recreate the parts on Inventor. Once the parts were assembled, a drawing file was made to show each part individually and its proper dimensions.

Important Note About Activities
The activities tab is a combination of in-class projects and homework. The pictures uploaded do not show the entirety of each activity, just the portions I thought were important or interesting.
